The Constitution is the framework for the U.S. Government which protects rights and freedoms of individuals and provide a system of governance divided between congress, judicial and executive branches. This model provides checks and balances to prevent one branch from becoming too powerful.

The rule of law

The rule of law is a durable system of laws, institutions, norms, and community commitment that delivers four universal principles: accountability, just law, open government, and accessible and impartial justice.
